This is what my life looks like
November
Staring down the robots and diving into the generative weeds with AI.
It’s early days, but here is what I think so far…
October
Counting down 31 Super Heumans for ADHD Awareness Month.
It was already October 1st when I found out ADHD Awareness Month was a thing, so I set myself a deadline to produce something fun and super shareable, before the day was over.
The end result was a set of trading cards, featuring the stories, statistics and cultural significance of 31 remarkable people with ADHD.
It’s not exactly my best design work, but definitely the most rewarding side project I’ve built in a long time.
August
It’s now been a few weeks since my friend and long time creative mentor Andrew ‘Bag’ Sidwell passed away.
I’ve spent a lot of time walking and meditating - just like we used to do in between client pitches and brainstorms at Austereo.
How can I honour the legacy of someone who made everyone around him feel like the most important person in the world? The best I’ve come up with so far is look for opportunities to support others, the same way he did for me.
Here’s a short video I made to remember him.

May
Super excited to soft launch the new product I’ve been working on for almost 2 years now.
It’s super niche so I understand most people couldn’t care less but if you happen to know a Non-Executive Director in Australia, please connect us.
Well… Only if they’d like to have X-Ray Vision.
January
I finally got to build my dream creative studio. (Above a punk rock bar in Burleigh)
Just over a year ago, the rad team at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse let me start working above their multi-award winning tequila bar and indie music venue in Burleigh Heads. It’s noisy as hell, with busted air con and no running water, but my friend Benny and I had a blast.
Then, just before Christmas, I finally took the plunge to move down the hall into a much bigger space and kit it out with wall to wall whiteboards and the best damn recording equipment Temu could provide (hey, I’m new to this whole content creator thing, ok!? Nobody needs fancy camera’s or mics when they’re learning how to not hate seeing themselves on screen).
Anyway, building this space was the best fun I’ve had in years so if you’re travelling through the Gold Coast anytime soon, come have a beer in the sunshine with me.
